Hylocereus is a genus of cacti native to Central America, known for producing the exotic and visually stunning dragon fruit (commonly referred to as pitahaya or pitaya). These cacti are also called night-blooming cacti because their flowers bloom only at night, producing large, fragrant, and beautiful blossoms.
